preview magazine from Local Sports Journal!

Last month we sold our annual football preview as a fundraiser, and had a good response, before the state announced on Aug. 14 that the season would be postponed until spring.
But on Thursday, Gov. Whitmer shocked everyone by announcing that the fall season will be played after all, so we are ready to print another big batch of the football preview to send to area fans by mail!
The minimum contribution for the football section is $5. Many people who ordered copies last month contributed more than that, which was very much appreciated! Like all small businesses, LSJ took a serious financial hit during the COVID-19 shutdown, and we need every dollar we can get to recover, so we can continue to provide the Muskegon area’s best high school sports coverage.
The deadline for ordering your copy of the LSJ high school football preview magazine is Monday, Sept. 14. The first games are four days later, so you should get your copy in the mail on time for the season-opening kickoffs!
