Nick Patterson’s two-goal performance propelled the Ludington boys soccer team  to a 4-0 Lakes 8 win over Manistee on Tuesday.

Noah King added a goal and an assist for Ludington while Bruce Thompson scored a goal. Steven Stidham chipped in with an assist.

The Orioles goalkeeper Tiler Marrison stopped the lone shot he faced, while Ludington had 22 shots on goal.

Ludington is now 4-3-2 on the season overall and 2-1 in conference action.

FRUITPORT CALVARY 7, PENTWATER 0– Ethan Pollock’s two goals and three assists paced the Eagles to a shutout win on Tuesday. 

Ben Pollack added two goals on the night while Luke Assaad, Garret Tyler and Karston Sutherland scored a goal each. Tyler Brown chipped in with an assist.

Fruitport Calvary’s goalkeeper Braden Cohea started in net and earned the shutout victory. 

The Eagles are now 6-1 overall and 2-1 in conference action.

MONA SHORES 1, GR UNION 0 – Abe Freye’s goal late in the second half led the Sailors to an O-K Green Conference win on Tuesday.

Hayden Yaros chipped in with an assist while goalkeeper Keegan DeKuiper earned the shutout victory.

Mona Shores is now 5-2 overall on the season and 4-2 in conference play.

WYOMING 3, REETHS-PUFFER 2 – The Rockets came up short Tuesday night in an O-K Green Conference game.

Reeths-Puffer opened the scoring with a goal from Preston Carpenter with 21:44 left in the first half.

Wyoming responded with two unanswered goals to take a 2-1 advantage at halftime.

The Wolves added to their lead with another goal before Darren Patterson closed out the scoring for the Rockets.

Wyoming had 16 shots with eight on target, while the Rockets had nine shots with four on target.

Reeths-Puffer goalkeeper Gage Hopkins stopped five shots on goal.

The Rockets are now 1-3-4 overall and 1-3-1 in conference.
