The Pentwater boys basketball team opened up the season on Monday with a 51-38 non-conference victory over Manistee Catholic Central.

After one quarter, the Falcons led 15-6 before expanding the lead to 24-14 at halftime.

In the second half, Pentwater ultimately outscored Manistee Catholic Central 27-24 to hold on for the season opening victory.

Tyler Plummer-Eisenlohr led Pentwater with 17 points and six rebounds while teammate Will Werkema-Grondsma added 13 points and eight rebounds.

Khole Hoffman totaled six points and 11 rebounds for Pentwater while Blake Brigindahl chipped in seven points, six rebounds, five assists and five steals.
