Duer, Bush, Whitaker earn singles wins for Lakers as Spring Lake tennis splits with Grand Haven

Spring Lake won three singles matches en route to earning a split with Grand Haven in girls tennis action Thursday afternoon.

Maddy Duer won No. 2 singles in two sets, 6-1, 6-3, Gabriella Bush won No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-2 and Morgan Whitaker won No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-4. 

Zoe Ruffing and Kyla Kobylak picked up a hard-earned win in No. 3 doubles for the Lakers, winning in three sets 6-4, 4-6, 12-10.
