Monday girls tennis roundup: Fruitport narrowly falls while Whitehall dominates

The Fruitport girls tennis team narrowly fell 5-3 to Coopersville on Monday night in a conference clash.

Hope Busscher (No.2 singles) and Grace Sweet (No.3 singles) each won their matches while the tem of Jennah Wierengo and Samantha Natviskas (No.3 doubles) won their match.

WHITEHALL 8, UNITY CHRISTIAN 0 – Lily Groessl (No.1 singles), Kenedy Woodring (No.2 singles), Jennifer Mark (No.3 singles) and Lucy Zamojcin (No.4 singles) all won their singles matches for Whitehall on Monday.

Winning in doubles for Whitehall were the teams of Lacey Herbert and Autumn Ferris (No.1 doubles), Mylee Boyd and Chloe Christensen (No.2 doubles), Sarah VanDam and Mackenzie Hall (No.3 doubles) Elizabeth Bentz and Addy Bernhardt (No.4 doubles).

HOLLAND CHRISTIAN 7, SPRING LAKE 1 – The doubles team of Zoe Walters and Taylor Gates (No.1 doubles) were the lone winners for Spring Lake on Monday.
