Monday girls lacrosse roundup: Mona Shores falls while Spring Lake beats Caledonia

The Mona Shores girls lacrosse team fell 16-8 on Monday night after not playing a game for two weeks.

Abby Sykes and Ireland Gill each had three goals for the Sailors while Jessica Eenigenburg added two goals.

Goalie Paige Brege had nine saves on the night for Mona Shores.

The Sailors are now 0-4 on the season.

SPRING LAKE 13, CALEDONIA 6 – Gabby Vasquez scored five goals to lead Spring Lake on Monday night.

Masen Carey had four goals for the Lakers while Inez Allard, Payton Davis and Tessa Fuller all had two points apiece. Madelyn White also added two goals, an assist and eight draw controls.

Defensively, Carly Llewellyn, Peyton Parsons and Sydney Young led the effort.

Goalie Leila Kahler had six saves for Spring Lake.
