The West Michigan Whitecaps dropped both games of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, losing 9-8 in Game 1 and 8-7 in Game 2.

Spencer Torkelson led the Whitecaps in Game 1 with three hits including a home run while also knocking in three RBIs.

Reynaldo Rivera also had a home run in the first game while Daniel Caberera added two hits and one RBI.

In Game 2, Jose King led the Whitecaps with three hits and two RBIs while Eduardo Valencia added three hits and one RBI.

Cabrera added two hits and two RBIs while Andre Lipcius added two hits and one RBI.

The Whitecaps are now 7-9 overall on the season and will wrap up their series at Wisconsin on Sunday with first pitch scheduled for 2:05 p.m.
