Whitehall and North Muskegon boys tennis teams competed against Grand Rapids South Christian on Wednesday and took second and third place, respectively.
 
Whitehall finished with eight points behind South Christian’s 11 points while North Muskegon earned five points.
 
Ashton Trnka captured the top spot at No. 1 singles to lead Whitehall while River Morrison was No. 2 singles champ.
 
Whitehall doubles partners Samuel Cole and Griffin Lownds took No. 1 doubles. Brady Tate and Jonathan Hall were runner-up at No. 2 doubles and Ryne Nicholas and John Treat were runner-up at No. 4 doubles.
 
North Muskegon was led by No. 3 singles champ Ethan Koman and No. 4 singles champ Luke Hall. Gavin Grimm and Will Ripple paced the Norse in doubles action, finishing runner-up at No. 3.
