The West Michigan Christian tennis team fell in a hard fought match against the Vikings of Whitehall, 5-3 on Wednesday.

Despite the tally in the loss column, the Warriors’ coach Daniel Hartley believes they are on the right track.

“Everyone put it out on the floor for what felt to me like one of our first REAL matches,” said Hartley about his team’s play against a strong Whitehall team. “I’m excited to see the team as it continues to grow.”

The Warriors host the Ludington Orioles in a match on Monday, September 13.
