The Western Michigan Christian boys tennis team managed to take a match from the Ludington Orioles on Thursday, falling 7-1.

For Coach Daniel Hartley he hopes the team can take lessons from the loss and work to grow moving forward.

“Coming into the day exhausted, we didn’t always stay focused and push through like we should,” said Coach Hartley. “We will look to rise up and play with more focus on each point when we play these tough opponents.”

The Warriors visit North Muskegon on Monday followed by two more matches on Tuesday and Wednesday.
