Hart’s girls cross country team came away with a dominating victory8 in the Division 3 portion of the Portage Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.
Hart finished with 83 points, while runner-up Jackson Lumen Christi had 102. Kent City finished third.
The Pirates were led by Alyson Enns who finished first in 18:18.5. Audrianna Enns came in fourth at 18:29.6 and Jessica Jazwinski was fifth in 18:38.0.

Hart’s boys team finished second behind Traverse City St. Francis, which finished with 95 points to Hart’s 139. Grandville Calvin Christian was third with 149 points. Kent City finished 16th and Hesperia was 30th.
Clayton Ackley’s ninth-place finish led the Pirates. He had a time of 16:40.7. Kent City’s Samuel Martini was fifth in 16:29.9. Cale Coppess of Montague was 30th in 17:35.5 and Jaren Vogel of Kent City was 54th in 18:01.9.
