The Spring Lake volleyball team really struggled against Unity Christian in the opening round of the O-K Blue tournament. 
The Lakers fell in three games with scores of 25-11, 25-8 and 25-13.
Offensively the Lakers were led by Anna Fumarolo with five kills while Brooke Bolthouse had three kills.
Kendra Kieft made nine digs and Kyla Kobylak and Sydney Ogden made seven and six assists, respectively.
Spring Lake next competes in a Thursday quad at Zeeland West.
