RAVENNA — Playing at home Tuesday night, the Ravenna girls basketball team defeated Holton, 30-16 in non-conference action.
The Red Devils struggled to score, and found Ravenna gaining a 20-7 lead at the half.
June Newell led the Red Devils with six points while Courtney Boes hauled down eight rebounds.
It snapped a six-game winning streak for Holton, which dropped to 11-6 overall.
The Red Devils are next scheduled to see action Friday night at Kent City in the Central State Athletic Association – Silver.
Ravenna improved its record 5-13 overall and snapped a four-game losing streak.
The Bulldogs are next scheduled to see action at Shelby on Thursday night in the West Michigan Conference.
