Geers, Hoffman and Bowers lead Kent City to a 3-0 finish in Wednesday night volleyball action

GRAND RAPIDS –The Kent City volleyball team posted a 3-0 record in a quad-match at Covenant Christian on Wednesday.

The Eagles took down Ravenna (25-14, 25-10), Covenant Christian (25-22, 25-22) and Sparta (25-11, 25-8).

Madelyn Geers made 21 digs, 17 kills, three aces and two blocks, while Jacee Hoffman added 43 assists and three aces.

Lexie Bowers threw in 21 kills and six aces and Kaden Perkins had 12 digs and three aces.

Susan-Joy Rau also contributed nine kills.

Kent City (9-4-1, 1-0) will travel to Newaygo on Tuesday for league action.
