FREMONT—The Fremont and Whitehall boys cross country teams tied for first place team honors on Tuesday afternoon at the West Michigan Conference Jamboree #1 held in Fremont at Branstrom Park.

The Packers and Vikings each finished with a team total score of 45 in the boys division.

The Orioles of Ludington claimed the top spot in the girls division with a team score of 35.

In the boys division other team scores included: Ludington (68), Manistee (104) and Montague (108).

Taking top individual honors in the boys division was Whitehall senior Andre Richmond who finished with a time of 18:31.10. His teammate senior Carter Mcllory finished in the runner-up position with a time of 18:31.53. Fremont junior Sean Pettis came in 3rd place with a finishing time of 18:52.07.

Other top ten finishers included: Peyton Ruel (Oakridge), Jack O’Donnell (Manistee), Jose Flores (Ludington), Trey Keson (Ludington), Owen Fairchild (Montague), Stewart Waters (Whitehall) and Cole Lowery (Fremont).

In the girls division following Ludington was Whitehall (44), Fremont (97), Manistee (97), Oakridge (126), Montague (146) and Orchard View (192).

Taking top individual honors was Whitehall sophomore Cami Kraai who crossed the finish line with a time of 22:10.65. Ludington sophomore Summer Brower finished in the runner-up position with a time of 22:26.69 and Manistee junior Cecilia Postma came in 3rd place with a time of 22:41.84.

Other top ten finishers included: Nadia Grierson (Ludington), Ariana Treat (Whitehall), Linnea Paige (Fremont), Christina Theis (Ludington), Cammie Erickson (Montague), Adalyn Briton (Whitehall) and Olivia Andersen (Ludington).
