SCOTTVILLE—The Hart boys and girls cross country teams continued to dominate the action in the West Michigan Conference Rivers division.

The teams swept both divisions on Tuesday afternoon at Riverside Park in Scottville.

In the boys’ division, Hart took six of the top ten spots to finish with a score of 18 points.

Other team scores included: North Muskegon (65), Ravenna (96), Shelby (99), Mason County Central (101) and Hesperia (150).

Top ten finishers for the Pirates included senior Clayton Ackley, who took top individual honors with a time of 16:43.47. He was followed by senior Seth Ackley with a time of 16:53.48 and senior Wyatt Dean came in third place with a time of 16:59.81. Sophomore Max Stitt came in fifth, while senior Easton Vander Zwaag and senior Caleb Bitely finished eighth and ninth, respectively.

Senior Jude Meldrum-Roy of North Muskegon and junior Evan Atkinson-Miller finished in fifth and seventh places.

Junior Matthew Anton of Ravenna finished in the sixth spot.

Sophomore Hunter Sanford was the top finisher for Mason County Central in the 10th slot.

Junior Tanner Solberg was the top finisher for Shelby (11th) while junior Stephen Priese was the top runner for Hesperia (18th).

In the girls’ division, Hart took seven of the top ten spots and finished with a score of 18. They were followed Mason County Central (70), Ravenna (76) and Shelby (81).

Hart sophomore sensation Jessica Jazwinski (ranked No. 1 in Division 3) finished with top individual honors with a time of 18:00.61. She was followed by Hart junior Alyson Enns, who finished with a time of 18:52.86, and Shelby senior Emma Soelberg came in third place with a time of 20:46.51.

Other top ten finishers for Hart included: Lexie Beth Nienhuis (fourth), Savanna Owens (fifth), Abigail Pretty (sixth), Lauren Pretty (seventh) and Kenai Kohx (ninth).

Senior Carolyn Bennett came in eighth spot for North Muskegon and freshman Adison Thorne came in 10th for Mason County Central.

Senior Autumn Morton came in 14th spot Ravenna and Holton sophomore Aubrey Goyings finished 15th.
