BIG RAPIDS –The Kent City volleyball team squeaked by Big Rapids in four sets on Thursday evening.

The Eagles won some tight sets with scores of 25-23, 21-25, 26-24 and 25-22.

Maddie Geers had 22 digs, 17 kills, two blocks and an ace, while Lexie Bowers added a pair of aces.

Jacee Hoffman chipped in with 21 assists with an ace. Savannah Miller made 17 digs on defense.

Kaden Perkins also contributed with 17 digs and an ace.

Kent City (13-4-1, 5-0) will compete in the Oakridge Invitational on Saturday.
