MUSKEGON — Things were looking pretty bleak for the host Reeths-Puffer Rockets’ girls basketball team on Friday night after three quarters of play.

The Rockets trailed 34-25 with eight minutes remaining. But, an 11-0 scoring spurt in the final quarter pushed the Rockets to a 36-34 victory over the Bucs.

Arial Walker led Reeths-Puffer with 14 points, followed by Brooklyn Tornes with nine. Sophie Hekkema also had a solid game with 10 rebounds and four steals.

Grand Haven was led by Kendall Woiteshek with 13 points and Heidi Berkley with seven.
