ADA – The Mona Shores boys lacrosse team took a hard loss to a talented Forest Hills Eastern squad on Tuesday, 9-3.
Forest Hills Eastern dominated possession for 3 1/2 quarters which put a lot of pressure on the Sailor defense. while the offense struggled to finish shots.
“Last night was a humbling lesson in great lacrosse,” said Sailor coach Murle Greer. “Forest Hills Eastern was talented and well coached and, even though we lost, I feel like we learned a lot and got better last night.”
JJ Boos, Hayden Terpstra and Ezra Carafelle each scored a goal for the Sailors.
Goalkeeper Parker Hayward made 10 saves.
Mona Shores will travel to West Ottawa on Tuesday, April 11.
