REED CITY – The Fremont girls soccer team took home the top prize at the first Crossroads Tournament on Saturday.

The Packers dominated in winning both of their games.

In the opening game against Lakeview, the Packers controlled the pace and put on pressure the entire game. 

The Packers capitalized on their opportunities and won, 4-1.

Mia Clemence scored a pair of goals, along with Maddie Mater and Olivia Dunbar, who each netted a goal.

The Packers carried that momentum into the finals and defeated host Reed City, 3-0.

The Packers owned the attack with a 13-2 shot advantage.

Clemence scored two goals and Riley Chase chipped in one.

Fremont (3-2-1, 0-1) travels to Ravenna on Monday.
