SPRING LAKE — The Spring Lake Lakers’ bats went silent on Thursday in a 3-1 loss to the Holland Christian Maroons.
The host Lakers managed that one run on just four hits. The outcome also gave Holland Christian a 2-1 advantage in the three-game series played this week.
Gerrit Lyyski had two hits, a triple and a double, for Spring Lake. Zane Stahl had the other two hits.
Spring Lake (8-5, 5-4) will play at doubleheader at Ludington on Friday.
Holland Christian is now 5-4 in the OK-Blue.
