Reeths-Puffer drills Spring Lake in a softball doubleheader sweep

 

MUSKEGON — The Reeths-Puffer Rockets’ offense was in high gear on Thursday night and the result was a doubleheader sweep over the visiting Spring Lake Lakers.

 

The Rockets won the first game, 11-1 in five innings, and the nightcap, 16-6.

 

In the first game, Mady Snyder had two hits, including a home run and a double. Lainey McDaniel had three hits, one a double.

Kyleigh Bilek and Kaylee Jones each added a double and a single.

Snyder pitched a one-hit complete game. She allowed one walk and struck out seven.

 

In the second game, Kaylee jones had a triple and a single while Megan Barnes had a double and a single. Kyleigh Bilek had two strikeouts in three innings of work and McDaniel struck out three in two innings of work.
