Fremont wins girls WMC golf jamboree, Ludington finishes second

 

LUDINGTON–The Fremont Packers girls’ golf team captured the title in the first West Michigan Conference jamboree of the season.

 

Fremont finished in the top spot at 188. The Ludington Orioles shot a 190 for second place, while Whitehall finished in third place at 196 and Montague had 205 to finish fourth.

 

Leading the way for Ludington were Emma McKinley, who was the event medalist with a 38. Sam Hanson finished in fifth place with a 48 and Kendal Waligorski finished 10th with a 51.  Also for Ludington Reya Dila shot 53 while Julia Reed finished at 54 and Vanessa Madl had a 56.

 

The Orioles play again on Thursday, August 24 at Katke Golf Course, hosted by Big Rapids.
