FRUITPORT – The Fruitport boys soccer team continued its winning ways with a 2-0 victory over West Michigan Aviation Academy on Monday. 

The action started slow with no goals in the first half, but the Trojans came out of the halftime break and gained control of the contest.

The Trojans outshot WMAA 16-4.

Davis Johnson and Taylen Acocks each netted a score off assists from Brady Brown.

Goalkeeper Logan Werschem posted the shutout with four saves.

Jaxon Stone was credited with solid play at midfield for the Trojans.

Fruitport (4-0) will travel to Whitehall on Wednesday.
