McKinley finishes second, Ludington finishes third at Lady Cardinal Invite

 

BIG RAPIDS–The Ludington Orioles girls’ golf team traveled to Big Rapids on Thursday to participate in the Lady Cardinal Invite.

 

The Orioles shot a round of 377, which was good enough for a third-place finish. Traverse City Central finished at the top of the leaderboard at 356. They were followed by Grand Ledge, which completed the day with a 365.

 

Ludington’s Emma McKinley finished in second place as she shot a round at 78. Ryleigh Allan from Remus Chippewa Hills won the event with a 76. Whitehall finished in fourth place with a 392 while Fremont came in 11th with a 413. Holton’s 485 was good for 13th place.

 

Other Ludington individual results included Sam Hanson who shot a 98, Reya Dila 100, Julia Reed 101, Vanessa Madl 117 and Chloe Barz 132.

 

Ludington plays again on Friday, August 25 in Interlochen.
