Fruitport saddled with a four-set volleyball setback to league foe Hamilton

FRUITPORT – The Fruitport volleyball team was handed a tough OK Conference-Blue loss against Hamilton on Thursday evening.

The Trojans fell in four sets, 23-25, 25-22, 20-25 and 14-25.

Sadie Haase had 12 kills, three blocks and three aces while Izzy Hanson-Wilbur added seven kills. Lauren Riedel had 15 digs and a pair of aces.

Kendal Kolberg chipped in eight digs and two aces. Gracelynn Olson recorded her 1,000th career assist and had 18 digs and two aces. 

Fruitport will compete at the Byron Center Invitational on Saturday.
