Grand Haven swept in three sets against Hudsonville in league volleyball

HUDSONVILLE – The Grand Haven volleyball team fell behind Hudsonville in OK Conference-Red action on Thursday and could not battle back.

The Bucs were side by side with the Eagles early on before losing in three sets, 21-25, 16-25 and 16-25.

Jacksonville State commit Izzy Whittaker had eight kills while Sara Weber added 15 assists. Taylor Smaka chipped in 11 digs defensively. 

Grand Haven (17-10) will host Caledonia on Thursday for league play.
