MUSKEGON – The Mona Shores Sailors earned another OK-Green Jamboree golf title on Wednesday at Lincoln Golf Club.
 
Led by Mayson Southland with a 1-under-par 35, the Sailors finished at 168, six strokes better than runner-up Reeths-Puffer (174). Third place went to Zeeland West with a 180, Zeeland East at 189 and Holland at 237.
 
Other scores for the Sailors included Summer Darrow at 38, Laniee Carmean with a 46 and Maddie Etterman with a 49.
 
The Rockets were again led by senior Paige Anderson, who finished third with a 37. Her round was highlighted by a long birdie putt on the fifth hole.
 
Junior Rowan Bluhm was sixth overall with a 41. Her round was highlighted by a drive on the par 3 sixth hold that ended up one foot from the cup. Freshman Sophia McCollum finished seven overall with a 42. Avery Luna and Olivia Ambler each finished at 54. Abby Haak ended up at 60.
 
“I am proud of my girls,” Rocket coach Matt Pallett said. “They are a great group of girls and I enjoy every moment I am around them. They are working hard and continue to battle to reach our team goals.”
 
Mona Shores heads to Ann Arbor to play Polo Fields Country Club on Monday.
