HESPERIA – Ravenna came out on top 35-7 over Hesperia on Friday, winning their third game in the WMC Rivers this season.
Hesperia struggled throwing the ball as quarterback Brock Bolles went 6-for-12 for 27 yards and an interception. The Panthers were much more successful on the ground with Bolles toting the ball 11 times for 69 yards and Skylar Stalbaum leading the way with 13 carries for 96 yards.
On defense, Hesperia was also led by Stalbaum who had 16 tackles. Thor Klas and Micahel Fenton each had seven tackles while Fisher Spencer posted six tackles.
Ravenna improved to 3-3 overall with the win and now owns the second-best conference record with a 3-1 mark. The Bulldogs will host league leader North Muskegon next Friday.
Hesperia (1-5) will look for their first conference win when it hosts Mason County Central next week.
