Western Michigan Christian rolls over Muskegon Catholic in league volleyball match

MUSKEGON –Western Michigan Christian opened up Alliance League play against Muskegon Catholic Central on Thursday and topped the Crusaders, 25-14, 25-15, 25-13.

Abby Leffring had 14 kills and a block while Ashley Folkema had eight aces, five kills and three blocks. Hannah Heiss added seven kills with six aces and Bri Warners had 33 assists.

Nora Anderson and Gracie Wiersema chipped in seven and three kills, respectively.

Western Michigan Christian will travel to Covenant Christian on Tuesday. 

Muskegon Catholic will be at home on Thursday to host Zion Christian.
