The Muskegon Catholic baseball team maintained its nearly perfect record with a 7-1 and 6-0 sweep of Fruitport Tuesday in Lakes 8 action.
Pitchers Nick Holt and Zach Huston combined for a two-hitter in the opener, with Holt getting the win and improving his record to 6-0 on the season.
Hitting leaders in Game 1 were Huston with two hits and an RBI, Zack Winzer with a single and two RBIs and Anthony Woodard with a triple.
In Game 2, Devin Comes and Winzer combined to pitch another two-hitter. Comes got the win and improved his record to 5-0.
Nick Holt led the Crusaders at the plate with two hits and three RBIs. Woodard, Winzer and Jacob Holt had one hit and one RBI apiece.
Muskegon Catholic is now 15-0-1 overall and 10-0 in league play.
