WHITEHALL – The Fremont boys soccer team continued its winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Montague in a Division 2 district semifinal game on Wednesday. 

The Packers trailed 1-0 at the half.

The Packers outshot the Wildcats 15-8.

John Vissia tallied a goal and an assist, while Chaz Miller and Deagan Klimek each scored a goal. Jude Fair chipped in an assist.

Trevor Trevino netted Montague’s lone goal.

Fremont goalkeeper Caleb Vissia made seven saves.

Fremont (19-1-1) will be back at Whitehall on Saturday to face Manistee in the district final match. 

Montague wrapped up the season with a record of 10-9-1.
