The Fruitport Calvary Christian volleyball team made easy work of Grand River Prep on the road on Thursday in an Alliance League contest, winning in three sets.

The Eagles won by service scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-17 to improve to 11-8 overall and 3-3 in league play.

Ella Dykman paced Fruitport Calvary with 19 kills, four digs, an ace, and a block. Kara Baas added seven kills, while Marissa Tyler chipped in with two aces and 33 assists.

The Eagles were led defensively by Tyler with nine digs, while Sarah Deuby had five.

Fruitport Calvary will next participate in the Volley Against Violence Tournament at Hesperia on Saturday.
