MONTAGUE – The Montague Wildcats captured an emotional, hard fought volleyball victory over North Muskegon on Tuesday.

The Wildcats edged the Norse in a full five sets, 23-25, 25-18, 22-25, 25-21 and 13-15.

Fia Lindsay led the Norse with 15 kills and three blocks, while Allie Jensen had 16 digs and 13 kills. Olivia Peterson threw in 10 kills and a pair of aces. Sami Baker had 43 assists, 18 digs and two aces. Jolie Fellows added 25 digs and two aces.

North Muskegon (16-11, 5-1) will be at Holton on Saturday for the West Michigan Conference tournament.

Montague will travel to Manistee for the conference tournament on Saturday.
