Senior Night was a huge success for Mona Shores’ volleyball team

NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores volleyball team earned a solid OK Conference-Green victory on Tuesday’s Senior Night.

The Sailors took down Reeths-Puffer, 25-8, 25-18 and 25-21.

Kyann Hellmann had 40 assists, six digs, two aces and two kills, while Grace Allen chipped in 15 kills. Izzy Sturtevant had 17 digs and two aces. Mallory Hogston threw in seven digs and three aces.

The Rockets’ Grace Darke made 18 assists and three digs, while Megan Barmes had 13 digs. Mady Snyder had 11 kills, four digs and two aces.

Mona Shores (32-5, 8-1) will host Zeeland West for the OK Conference-Green title match on Tuesday.

Reeths-Puffer (7-26-1, 5-4) will travel to Zeeland East for the final round of the conference tournament.
