Holton makes quick work of league foe Hesperia in girls’ basketball

HOLTON – The Holton girls basketball team won the battle of M-120 with a 53-4 victory over WMC-Rivers foe Hesperia on Tuesday evening.

The Red Devils went on a 24-0 first-quarter run.

Aubrey Goyings led Holton with a double-double of 12 points, 11 rebounds and three steals. Abbie Fowler chipped in 12 points, three steals and three assists, while Ryann Robins had 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals. Lexi Bart added 13 points.

Holton (2-1, 1-1) will be at home on Friday to face Fruitport Calvary Christian.

Hesperia (1-2, 0-2) is set to travel to Shelby on Friday for more league play.
