Fruitport Calvary Christian loses double-digit halftime lead, drops one-point decision on its home court

FRUITPORT – The Fruitport Calvary Christian boys basketball team was handed a tough 58-57 loss against Barry County Christian on Monday evening.

The Eagles led 35-21 going into halftime, but were outscored 37-22 in the second half.

“It was a very disappointing game in a lot of ways,” said Calvary Christian coach Brad Richards.

Calvary’s Bradley Richards put up 27 points, while Sam Zelenka and Quinn Swanson added 15 points apiece.

Fruitport Calvary Christian (8-6, 1-2) will be at home on Tuesday.
