Grant trio combines for 52 points in boys’ victory over Central Montcalm

GRANT – The Grant boys basketball team grabbed the lead in the second half and bagged a 77-74 CSAA victory over Central Montcalm.

Monday’s game saw the Tigers trailing 36-34 at the half, but overcame Central Montcalm in the third quarter.

Zaiden Phillips led the Tigers with 19 points, while Oakley Obenauf and Ethan DeLong added 18 and 15 points, respectively. Kyle Cook, Sincere Hatch and Blake Rider each chipped in six points.

Grant (12-4, 7-1) will be at home against White Cloud for conference play on Wednesday.
