KALAMAZOO – In a makeup boys’ basketball game on Monday, the host Kalamazoo Christian Comets pulled away in the second half of a 53-39 victory over the Western Michigan Christian Warriors.
The game was deadlocked at 8-all after one quarter. The host Comets took the lead, 25-23, at the half and 41-36 after three quarters.
Derrick Ashley led WMC with 15 and Eli Malek had 11.
