Muskegon Catholic boys drop Alliance League matchup to Zion Christian

Muskegon Catholic boys basketball couldn’t mount a comeback in its 65-53 Alliance League loss to Zion Christian on Friday.

The Crusaders were led by Owen Lyonnais with 23 points and six steals. The senior also shot 8-of-9 from the free throw line.

Jacob Lyonnais added 10 points and five steals while Q Lorenz scored eight points.

MCC next plays on Monday against top-ranked Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian, which is No. 1 in Division 4.
