WALKERVILLE — Pentwater’s girls basketball team traveled to Walkerville for a third, non-conference matchup with the Wildcats and came away with a 49-19 victory on Tuesday night.

The Falcons never looked back after building a 15-4 first-quarter lead.

Pentwater senior Sam Schaefer had a night to remember, firing in a game and season-high 23 points. Emma Werkema-Grondsma, an eighth grader, came up to the varsity for the game and scored six points. Falcon reserve players got plenty of playing time in the contest.

It moved the Falcons to 13-6 on the season, and they host Baldwin in a West Michigan D League game Thursday night.
