BIG RAPIDS — Ludington had three players score in double figures Monday night and cruised to a 62-26 victory over Remus-Chippewa Hills in the Division 2 girls’ district tournament at Big Rapids.

Jaelyn Laird led the way with 12 points, while Jennah Skiba and Elianna Jeruzal added 10 apiece. Peyton Welch contributed nine.

The Orioles established control early and outscored the Warriors, 15-8, in the first quarter. Ludington had a 17-8 advantage in the second period and led 32-16 at the half.

Ludington continued to dominate in the second half and outscored the Warriors, 23-3 in the third quarter and went into the fourth period with a 55-19 advantage.

The Orioles (16-7) will take on Hart at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the district semifinal. That game is at Big Rapids.
