The Spring Lake softball squad finished strong on Thursday night in a 5-2 win over Grand Rapids Covenant Christian.
The Lakers trailed 1-0 at the end of two innings, led 2-1 after four and were tied 2-2 heading into the final inning before scoring the final three runs of the contest.
Tessa Britt paced the Lakers with two hits, two runs scored and four RBI.
Ava Twa was the winning pitcher. She allowed two runs on five hits in seven innings.
