GRANDVILLE – The Mona Shores baseball team earned a solid 10-6 non-conference win over Grandville on Friday evening.

The Sailors collected 15 hits en route to the victory.

Trevor Cunningham started at the mound and gave up four runs – two earned – and struck out eight batters. Nathan Opfermann earned the save by registering the final six outs.

Jayden Ammeraal had four hits, including a double and a triple, and scored two runs. Brady Recknagel, Zack Keessen and Hunter Krueger each added a pair of hits.

Mona Shores (6-3) will travel to Holland on Tuesday for an OK-Green doubleheader.
