KENT CITY – The Shelby girls soccer team blanked Kent City, 4-0, in a non-conference game on Friday evening.
The first score came from an ‘own goal’ by the Eagles.
Alyse Erickson had a goal and an assist, while Michelle Nuevo and Hanna Frees each added a single goal. Molli Schultz chipped in an assist.
Shelby (3-4-1, 0-2-1) will host Manistee on Monday.
Kent City (2-5, 0-2) will visit Big Rapids for CSAA play on Monday.
