NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores girls’ lacrosse team overpowered Kalamazoo Central, 15-1, in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday evening.

“We dominated the draw circle tonight—and finished on offense, which is a great recipe for success,” said Mona Shores coach Chip Vasquez. “We’ve struggled all year finishing, but tonight it all came together. We did the basics very well.”

Emma Reelman led with four goals and two assists, while Danika Johnson added three goals and four ground balls. Reese Smith had two goals, one assist, four ground balls and four draw controls. Lainee Carmean chipped in two goals, two assists and four ground balls.
