HOWARD CITY – The Kent City softball team bagged a convincing CSAA twinbill sweep over Tri-County on Thursday evening.

The Eagles took the games 19-4 and 20-9, respectively.

Lylah Larson took the mound in game one and gave up four hits, four runs and struck out four batters.

Hannah Stellini had two hits, three runs and two RBI. Cailynn Hartzell added two hits, two runs and three RBI, while Milah Mollien had two hits, two runs and an RBI. Larson chipped in two hits, one run and an RBI. Kenzie Freeland had one hits, one run and a pair of RBI.

In game two, Ellie Hansen gave up nine hits, nine runs and struck out three on the mound.

Laynee Hoffman had three hits and four runs, while Hansen threw in three hits, three runs and three RBI. Larson had three hits, one run and an RBI. Mollien and Laila Mortensen had two hits, two runs and one RBI.

Kent City will be at Hart on Thursday for a doubleheader.
