The Oakridge Eagles picked up two league wins—14-0 and 10-5—against the Fremont Packers on Tuesday night.
 

Game one featured a lot of Oakridge offense, while game two saw a weather interruption and the game called due to darkness.

 
In game one, Oakridge’s Michael Wambaugh pitched a shutout, allowing just two hits. The Eagles tallied 12 hits to score their 14 runs. Vitek Benes led Oakridge offensively with three hits, four runs scored and an RBI. Evan Miller and Jullian Primmer both had two hits. Miller scored a run and drove in two. Primmer scored a run and had an RBI. Michael Wambaugh had three RBI, Brody Jennings and Chase Dutton each had two RBI as well.
 
The Packers’ Ben Mellema broke up the Wambaugh no-hitter in the fifth inning. Blake Zerlaut also had a hit, while Paxton Borgman picked up the loss on the mound.
 
Game two was a more back-and-forth affair. The Eagles were the visiting team in game two and were up four to nothing when weather caused a delay. The Packers came out of the weather delay and put two runs on the board.
 
The Eagles led off the top of the fourth inning with two runs, but Fremont collected three in the bottom half. The Eagles had a big fifth inning, after which the game was called due to darkness. The game ended 10-5 in favor of the Eagles. Brody Jennings struck out four batters and picked up the win for the Eagles.

Fremont’s Owen Vanderstelt took the loss, allowing three runs on three hits in 2 2/3 innings. Borgman knocked in two runs for the Packers in the second game, while Mellema, Easton Herman, Deagan Klimek, Chase Mercer, Brayden Crosley and Borgman each had a hit for the Packers.

Deagan Klimek had a hit, scored two runs and had an RBI for the Eagles. Overall, Oakridge managed seven hits. Evan Miller and Brody Jennings contributed two apiece. Miller also scored two runs and Jennings drove in two. Noah McFadyen scored two runs and drove in one for Oakridge.
