LUDINGTON — The Orchard View Cardinals pulled off a doubleheader sweep over the Ludington Orioles in girls’ softball on Tuesday.
 
The Cardinals won 16-4 and 15-11.
 
Gabbie Mosher pitched a complete game for OV and earned the victory. Abbi Cook had three hits, including a triple. Alivia DeCheney finished with five RBI and McKenzie Thiele had two singles and three RBI.
 
For Ludington, Jody Meisenheimer pitched a complete game in the opener, working seven innings and allowing 12 hits, seven walks and striking out two.
 
Madelyn Kenyon led the Orioles at the plate by going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs batted in. Emma Eaton finished 2-for-3 with a double.
 
In the second game, Cardinal pitchers Miah Peterson and Mosher combined to hold off the Orioles. Elianna Jennings and Peterson each had two hits for the Cardinals.
 
Ludington’s Kenyon worked the first 3.1 innings in the nightcap, giving up eight hits, six walks and struck out two. Meisenheimer came on in relief to finish the final 1.2 innings, giving up three hits and two walks.
 
Maddie Enbody was 3-for-4 with a triple and collected two RBI, while Meisenheimer was 2-for-5 with a RBI and Jacee Cole was 3-for-4.
 
The Orioles fell to 1-13 on the season and host Fruitport on Thursday.
