BELDING – It was one of those games you just want to forget about and move on.

The Fruitport Trojans’ two-game winning streak came to a halt on Friday night in a 58-7 loss to the host Belding Black Knights.

Belding led 16-0 after quarter and 46-0 at the half.

Fruitport got on the board when Brady Hanson found DayDay Williams on a 59-yard scoring strike early in the third quarter.

Belding tacked on two more scores, one in each of the third and fourth quarters.

Hanson completed 4-of-12 passes for 90 yards. Williams caught three of those passes for 82 yards.

Fruitport is at Godwin Heights next Friday for an OK-Silver matchup.
